We are seeking an experienced Mechanic for ourstate of the art metal recycling yard located on Florida Ave. inNew Orleans, LA – Join a global leader in the Metal RecyclingIndustry! This is a Full Time position opportunity. We haveheavy equipment such as material handlers, front end loaders, andexcavators that are essential to our operations. We also haveconveyor belts. The Mechanic that we are looking for must haveflexibility to work on heavy equipment as well as machinery, andmaintain equipment through planned and preventative maintenanceprocedures as directed. This includes fuel and lubrication,inspecting and testing, diagnosing malfunctions, dismantling andreassembling, and installing parts. The Mechanic will also be ableto work on our facility conveyor belts, and other machinery. We areseeking a very skilled Mechanic with at least 5 years ofmaintenance experience. Experience in repair of metal processingequipment and trucks is helpful. We would like to see a backgroundin electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical areas.

Compensation is dependent on experience.
