Full Job Description Job Overview:

As a nationwide recruiter, I’ve got multiple Mobile & In-shop Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Technician opportunities , across the US. This specific opportunity is a Shop Tech role, and relocation assistance is available for the right fit! This is a full-time, direct hire positions, in this specific geographic area!

Duties:

Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications Prepare for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations Properly comlete working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, hour’s overviews and expense reports Provide excellent customer service

Key Qualifications:

Able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics 2 years of experience working with mobile crane equipment – preferably with any of the following: Grove

RT & TMS

Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC Cranes; Traditional Cranes ; National Boom Trucks Own a basic set of hand tools (up to 1.5″) High School Diploma / GED Valid driver’s license Welding experience, is a plus!
