Overview Are you a skilled heavy equipment service technician looking for a rewarding career with a reputable company? Milton CAT is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, recondition, overhaul, and maintain customer and company heavy equipment and components.

Pay Rate:

$26.97 – $45.27/hour based on location and experience.

Employee Referral Program Responsibilities Remove, disassemble, assemble, and install components and parts.
Identify problems and causes of failure through logical troubleshooting steps.
Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
Prepare, inspect, and operate machines prior to delivery.
Stay up-to-date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systems.
Prepare accurate inspections and complete service reports.
Adhere to all established safety protocols and standards, utilizing appropriate PPE.
Be flexible to work after hours when needed to meet customer needs. Qualifications Requires a certificate or associates degree in diesel technology or two years direct work experience.
Must be proficient in transmission, engines, hydraulics and electrical.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in the use of a computer.
The ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations.
The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced service environment with minimal supervision.
A tool inventory sufficient to perform assigned tasks.
The ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
