7:00 am
- 5:30 pm, Monday
- Friday. Rotating Saturdays 7:00am
- 12:00pm Overtime may be required, including nights and weekends as needed.

Heavy Equipment Technician Details:
Direct Hire position
$28.00 to $36.00 /hour
First Shift
Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment as indicated on operator inspection forms.
Follow company and manufacturer guidelines for preventative maintenance and inspections.
Diagnose malfunctions by inspecting, troubleshooting, observing, and listening to equipment in operation; report findings to immediate supervisor.
Plan and organize work procedures for equipment repairs.
Research technical information and requisition necessary parts and materials.
Accurately complete all required company, state, and federal documentation, including labor time, work completed, and parts used, within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Overhaul gas and diesel engines, as well as other major powertrain components, utilizing the latest technical information and best practices.
Fabricate lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices based on blueprints or schematic drawings.
Test-drive repaired equipment to confirm functionality and ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Heavy Equipment Technician Qualifications:
Proven experience as a field mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic.
Ability to perform heavy equipment repairs and maintenance independently with minimal supervision.
Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for gas and diesel engines, as well as powertrain systems.
Experience with fabrication and repairs of hydraulic systems and components. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and parts.
Strong communication skills to report work progress and findings.
