As a Shop Technician operating out in our Raleigh, NC branch you will be responsible for preparing forklifts for delivery, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing forklifts, aerial lifts, and other powered material handling equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Safely troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on forklifts Maintain and repair internal combustion and electric powered equipment Support and repair damage to rental fleet Assist other team members in the field with repair work

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulic Systems Previous experience evaluating and repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, tractors, automobiles or similar pieces of equipment Exceptional customer service skills Must be computer literate, able to use tablet and a laptop for field diagnostics and internet resources Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, be able to pass preemployment drug screens, background checks, and physicals.
