What You’ll Do As a Crane Division Assistant , you’ll support crane operators and mechanics in daily operations by delivering fuel, assisting with setup and teardown, and helping maintain the yard and equipment. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training with the opportunity to grow into a certified Crane Operator role. Core Responsibilities Deliver fuel to cranes and other heavy equipment. Assist in maintaining and organizing yard tools, equipment, and materials. Help with crane setup and teardown under the supervision of a certified operator. Support mechanics in conducting routine maintenance and basic inspections. Handle general upkeep of the cabs, including cleaning and maintaining a neat appearance. Learn and follow safety standards, procedures, and company policies. Progressively train to become a certified crane operator. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

What You Bring High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Previous experience working with equipment or in a mechanical setting preferred. Ability to read and comprehend safety instructions and standard operating procedures. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors. Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Valid driver’s license required. CDL a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements of Job:

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Able to work for periods of time while kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing steps. Must be able to stand and/or walk from location to location up to 95% of the day. Outdoor and indoor environments, with exposure to hot and cold temperatures

Required PE:
