HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

at our Shavertown and Plains, PA locations . The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, Diagnose, and Repair equipment such as pavers, dozers, excavators, loaders, etc. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and electrical components, as well as proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Test the overhauled equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently. Perform routine, preventative maintenance and inspections on the equipment. Prepare and maintain accurate inspection, maintenance records, and maintenance schedules on each piece of equipment. Perform all work according to OSHA and American Asphalt Safety Policies. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

Prefer 2-3 years’ direct experience working on heavy construction equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test, and be willing to submit to, and pass, random drug/alcohol testing; Salary commensurate with experience.
