Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various appliances in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be proficient in reading schematics and possess the ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair refrigerators and other appliances
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on appliances to ensure optimal performance
• Assemble and install new appliances
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to appliances
• Deliver and set up appliances in customers’ homes or businesses
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of repairs and installations
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient job completion
• Keep accurate records of completed work and maintain a thorough understanding of appliance schematics
• Perform field service and travel to job sites as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (must be insurable)
• Prior experience as an appliance repair technician or in a related field
• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with appliance schematics and service manuals Must be able to use basic tools/ mechanically incline Must be willing to work overtime Must be able to lift, move, repair appliances.
