ASAP Our client, a leading residential service provider in Southwest Florida, is looking to hire an experienced Appliance Technician to join their growing team. This is a full-time, in-person role with steady hours, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to grow your technical career in a collaborative, service-driven environment. You’ll diagnose and repair a range of home appliances, provide top-tier customer service, and play an important role in maintaining the company’s strong reputation across Sarasota and the surrounding region.

Position Overview:

As an Appliance Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing appliances such as refrigerators, icemakers, microwaves, dishwashers, cooktops, ranges, washers, and dryers. The ideal candidate has experience with major appliance brands, a clean driving record, and the ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer homes and job sites to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various residential appliances Conduct accurate troubleshooting and determine the most efficient solutions Repair or replace parts as needed and ensure full functionality of the unit Document all service actions, including parts used, time on site, and service outcomes Use diagnostic tools and equipment appropriately, while following safety protocols and PPE requirements Maintain vehicle, tools, and company-issued devices in good working order Attend team meetings in Sarasota once or twice weekly for supplies, scheduling, and updates

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in appliance repair or technical service EPA Certification (preferred) Refrigeration/sealed systems experience is a strong asset Familiarity with brands such as GE, Samsung, Whirlpool, Kenmore, LG, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Amana, Sub-Zero, etc. Valid driver’s license with clean abstract Ability to relocate to or reside within commuting distance of Sarasota, FL (required) Strong customer communication and service skills Capable of working independently in the field and using internal service software Willingness to complete background check and drug/alcohol screening

Compensation:

Base Pay:

$25.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience) Opportunities for spiffs (sales/upsell bonuses)

Shift Premiums:

$2.00/hour evenings $3.00/hour weekends
