Summary of Job:
An Appliance Service Technician installs andtroubleshoots washers, ranges and other large appliances for theircustomers. They need to know how to connect water or gas lines, andhow to check for leaks once the appliances are installed. Servicetechnicians must repair or replace any defective components foundin appliances. They instruct their customers on how to operate theappliances properly. They must know how to dismantle and reassembleappliances to make their diagnosis. Appliance repair techniciansmust also provide outstanding customer service, have goodcommunication skills and have the ability to work in a teamenvironment.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required You must be able to work one Saturday a month. You must have at least 3 years of experience in the residentialand commercial industry.
