In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to read schematics and assemble components as needed. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose issues with appliances and determine appropriate repair methods. Perform repairs on a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems. Assemble and install new appliances as per manufacturer specifications. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair processes and appliance maintenance. Drive a box truck to deliver appliances to customer locations when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role focused on appliance repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to appliance functionality. Experience in assembly tasks related to appliance installation. A valid driver’s license is required for driving the delivery vehicle.
