We prioritize the growth and development of our staff, offering an outstanding training program aimed at cultivating strong leadership abilities in you. As a Make Ready Technician, you will collaborate with the Resident Service Director and other team members to ensure that our apartment units meet the highest standards of quality before being occupied by tenants .
Your daily job:
Collaborate with the Resident Service Director and other team members to prepare apartment units for occupancy. Utilize your 1-year experience in an Apartment Community setting to perform various tasks related to maintenance and renovation. Apply your Electrical experience and Plumbing knowledge to address issues and make necessary repairs. Utilize your Light Construction skills to perform tasks such as drywall installation and repair, as well as installing exterior fixtures and finishes. Install interior items such as fans, blinds, and other renovation items for apartment units. Conduct light painting as required to ensure a quality finish of final units. Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors to ensure efficient completion of tasks. Possess HVAC certification and perform HVAC-related tasks as necessary. Complete Work Order assignments and other duties as required to support the needs of the community.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-year experience in an Apartment Community setting. Strong Electrical experience and Plumbing knowledge. Proficiency in Light Construction skills, including drywall installation and repair. Ability to install exterior fixtures and finishes. Experience installing interior items such as fans, blinds, and other renovation items for apartment units. Basic painting skills. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team. HVAC certification required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
