Job Summary
First Year HVAC Apprentice, Plant Facilities Department, M-F, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Baptist Medical Center.
The HVAC Apprentice is a hands-on role designed for those eager to learn the HVAC trade and build a rewarding career. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

HVAC Apprentice Responsibilities:

Assists craftsmen in the completion of assigned duties
Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Support troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve system issues.
Learn and apply industry standards and best practices under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Participate in training programs and certifications to advance technical knowledge.
Requires attending class after working hours 2 nights a week when classes are in session
