We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial HVACR Technician to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Commercial HVACR Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVACR systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5-years experience in light commercial air conditioning and refrigeration to include maintenance, service and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair commercial HVACR equipment including RTUs, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and rooftop systems. Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections on HVACR systems. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine proper solutions. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in commercial HVACR service. EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal required). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments (roof tops, mechanical rooms, etc.).
