Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, bend, and stretch Position Summary The Senior Field Technician plays a critical role in delivering high-quality HVAC and refrigeration services to our commercial clients. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC/R systems with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, technical excellence, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly skilled, and committed to upholding our company’s standards and core values. Key Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation services for HVAC and refrigeration systems, with minimal supervision. Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and a solution-focused approach at all times. Collaborate with Dispatch Coordinators and Field Managers to ensure timely updates and job status communication throughout the workday. Accurately document all work performed, including materials used, diagnostics, and recommendations, using company-approved platforms. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department-specific systems and technology. Use all company-provided tools and technology responsibly and efficiently. Ensure company vehicle cleanliness, organization, and compliance with maintenance policies. Manage and replenish truck stock to ensure readiness and reduce return trips. Report vehicle or stock-related issues promptly to the Warehouse Manager or Field Manager. Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation schedules as required. Mentor and support junior technicians through hands-on guidance and quality control. Complete all company and industry-mandated training and certifications in a timely manner. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC/R field. Universal EPA Certification (required). Proven ability to diagnose and service a wide range of HVAC systems, including residential and commercial units. Excellent customer service skills with a professional and respectful demeanor. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Tech-savvy, with the ability to use mobile apps and digital tools for communication and job tracking. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
