Sheet Metal Journeyman Sphere Mechanical Corp. Yankeetown, FL Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in HVAC and refrigeration. This role involves working with sheet metal to fabricate, assemble, and install various components while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Duties Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, ductwork and control systems Perform maintenance on refrigeration systems and other related equipment. Conduct property maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all installations meet industry standards. Troubleshoot and repair appliances as necessary, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in sheet metal work, HVAC systems, or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with plumbing systems is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
