The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently in the field, ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed for specific applications. Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to complete projects efficiently. Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status. Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including boilers and refrigeration units. Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Experience with equipment repair techniques specific to HVAC/R systems is preferred.
