Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Generator-Environment Control Unit (ECU)/Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician candidates who will perform installation, maintenance and troubleshooting issues with Environmental Control Units and generators supporting SATCOM systems. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions. Prefer candidates with a valid US passport. Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.

PRIMARY DUTIES

All candidates will perform the following duties: Install Environmental Control Units and generators. Maintain Environmental Control Units and generators. Troubleshoot Environmental Control Units and generators. Decipher schematic diagrams and blueprints. Install, repair, and maintain generators (3kw to 100kw 50,60 and 400HZ). Maintain and repair mobile and fixed communications ECUs. Installation and service HVAC/Electrical commercial, industrial and residential heating and air- condition systems, energy management and controls wiring, light commercial and residential wiring, high and low voltage, upgrading services single and 3-phase.

SKILLS REQUIRED

All candidates will have the following minimum skills: One (1) year of experience with HVAC and generator experience. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork. Work well independently or as a member of a team environment Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Associate’s degree in Generator/HVAC field, OR a two (2) year technical school, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.
