Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial New Build HVAC Duct Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC duct systems and be proficient in the installation and fabrication of sheet metal ductwork in large-scale commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Install and fabricate HVAC duct systems according to blueprints and specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape ductwork using hand and power tools.
Install and connect duct fittings, dampers, and other components.
Ensure ductwork is properly sealed and insulated.
Perform quality control checks to ensure system integrity.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate installations.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HVAC Duct Mechanic in commercial new build construction.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
