Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with restaurant equipment, refrigeration units, and ice bins, as well as handling Freon and performing preventative maintenance. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and related equipment in commercial kitchen environments. Service and repair ice machines, refrigeration units, and other foodservice equipment as needed. Handle refrigerant (Freon) in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment, including routine inspections, cleaning, and system checks. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with refrigeration systems, ice bins, and HVAC units to determine causes of malfunction. Provide recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance based on inspections. Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Work with clients to ensure satisfaction and explain necessary repairs or maintenance procedures. Follow safety protocols and comply with all regulatory requirements regarding refrigerants and HVAC systems.
