The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, plumbing, and property maintenance. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work with various tools and equipment, including ohmmeters and welding tools, to complete tasks effectively. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial properties. Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts. Perform routine maintenance checks and service calls to ensure systems operate efficiently. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics. Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work performed. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns promptly. Experience Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Proficient in plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in property maintenance is advantageous but not required. Valid HVAC certification or relevant technical training preferred.
