AC Maintenace Technician Duke’s Air Conditioning And Heating Jupiter, FL 33478 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read and interpret schematics and is comfortable working with various tools and equipment. As an Air Conditioning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients’ HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively. Duties Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning units. Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, fans, and thermostats. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients. Collaborate with team members to design and build customized HVAC solutions based on client needs. Drive company vehicles to job sites while adhering to safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role in HVAC. Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, HVAC/R principles, and appliance repair. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals. Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Certification in HVAC or relevant fields is a plus but not mandatory.
