Full job description Cisco Air, a family owned and operated business for over 20 years, is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, and ductwork in residential and commercial properties.
Recommend and implement system upgrades, including Indoor Air Quality improvements, energy-efficient systems, and other enhancements.
Educate customers on the benefits of upgrades and new systems, helping them make informed decisions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory used.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields such as property maintenance or appliance repair.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for specific installations.
Experience in field service roles is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Extensive knowledge of hand tools and mechanical systems.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Must be able to pass a background check.
EPA certification and other relevant certifications are preferred.
