The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, particularly with ammonia refrigeration, and possess the technical expertise to service and maintain various cooling systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Install and maintain air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to effectively diagnose issues. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on cooling systems to prevent failures. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems across facilities. Provide technical support as a service technician for clients experiencing issues with their air conditioning units. Document all service activities, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. Assist in building new HVAC systems or modifying existing ones as required. Drive company vehicles to various job sites as needed for service calls. Requirements Proven experience in HVAC. Strong understanding of mechanical principles related to air conditioning systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Experience in property maintenance is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
