Job Responsibilities:

Installation:

Install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and related components.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Understand and follow blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation.

System Testing:

Test and adjust systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.

Problem Solving:

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs.

Customer Service:

Provide customer support, answer questions, and address concerns related to HVAC systems.

Electrical Work:

Perform minor electrical work related to HVAC systems, such as wiring and connections.

Ductwork:

Fabricate and install various ducts and duct fittings.

Inventory:

Maintain a detailed inventory of HVAC equipment and resources.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.

Training:

Participate in technical training and development.

Cleanliness:

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in HVAC installation is highly preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in reading schematics, using HVAC-specific tools, and understanding HVAC principles.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid driver’s license and EPA card are often required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
