Job Summary:
- Responsible for the working knowledge, basic troubleshooting, repair,and maintenance of all equipment associated with facility infrastructureincluding ammonia refrigeration, steam, air, wastewater pretreatment,exterior grounds, building, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.

- 6:30am, Tuesday through
Saturday Job Responsibilities:
- Properlyrepair and maintain all equipment associated with facilityinfrastructure including ammonia refrigeration, steam, air, wastewaterpretreatment, exterior grounds, building, plumbing, electrical systems,etc.. in a timely manner with minimal supervision;
- Performpreventative maintenance on facility infrastructure equipment includingoil and filter replacement, freezer defrosts, instrumentation, chemicalpumps, etc.
- Perform general maintenance duties as it relates tofacility infrastructure equipment and building, including groundmaintenance, painting, snow removal, etc.
- Properly perform mechanical,electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing duties asrequired;
- Possess a working comprehension of all facilityinfrastructure equipment;
- Complete assigned work orders, includingdaily rounds, by their required due dates;
- Complete assignedhousekeeping duties as required;
- Communicate to Maintenance Manager orPlant Manager of any condition that is outside normal operatingparameters;
- Work effectively as part of a team and display a positiveattitude;
- Obtain Hazmat Technician certification and work as a memberof the local Hazmat Team;
- Other duties as assigned.
SafetyResponsibilities:
- Safety is vitally important not only at our facilitybut also from a personal standpoint.
Employees are responsible forunderstanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safetyis a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeepingprocedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.
Education and Experience:
- Trade School Diploma or equivalentexperience.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability in industrialmaintenance activities such as hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing,electrical, mechanical and general manufacturing maintenance;
- Basicmath and reading skills;
- Ability to work independently or in agroup/team atmosphere;
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Abilityto withstand varying temperatures ranging anywhere from 130?F to
- 30?Ffor varied periods of time
