Job Summary:

• Responsible for the working knowledge, basic troubleshooting, repair,and maintenance of all equipment associated with facility infrastructureincluding ammonia refrigeration, steam, air, wastewater pretreatment,exterior grounds, building, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.

Saturday Job Responsibilities:

• Properlyrepair and maintain all equipment associated with facilityinfrastructure including ammonia refrigeration, steam, air, wastewaterpretreatment, exterior grounds, building, plumbing, electrical systems,etc.. in a timely manner with minimal supervision;
• Performpreventative maintenance on facility infrastructure equipment includingoil and filter replacement, freezer defrosts, instrumentation, chemicalpumps, etc.
• Perform general maintenance duties as it relates tofacility infrastructure equipment and building, including groundmaintenance, painting, snow removal, etc.
• Properly perform mechanical,electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing duties asrequired;
• Possess a working comprehension of all facilityinfrastructure equipment;
• Complete assigned work orders, includingdaily rounds, by their required due dates;
• Complete assignedhousekeeping duties as required;
• Communicate to Maintenance Manager orPlant Manager of any condition that is outside normal operatingparameters;
• Work effectively as part of a team and display a positiveattitude;
• Obtain Hazmat Technician certification and work as a memberof the local Hazmat Team;
• Other duties as assigned.

Employees are responsible forunderstanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safetyis a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeepingprocedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.

Education and Experience:

• Trade School Diploma or equivalentexperience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability in industrialmaintenance activities such as hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing,electrical, mechanical and general manufacturing maintenance;
• Basicmath and reading skills;
• Ability to work independently or in agroup/team atmosphere;
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Abilityto withstand varying temperatures ranging anywhere from 130?F to
• 30?Ffor varied periods of time
