•Description The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for:

PortfolioOversight:

Manage HVAC maintenance and repairs for 2 million squarefeet of commercial real estate across Northern MA.

SystemMaintenance:

Perform inspections, repairs, and scheduledmaintenance for all types of HVAC units and equipment, includingchiller plants, heat pumps, and cooling towers.

OperationalExcellence:

Ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency bytroubleshooting distribution systems for velocity, volume,temperature, and pressure.

Compliance Management:

Oversee HVACcode-required compliance testing and maintain comprehensive recordsfor inspection and safety standards.

Vendor Coordination:

Managethird-party service providers, ensuring adherence to timelines andquality standards.

On-Call Support:

Participate in a 24/7 on-callrotation every six weeks.

Construction Coordination:

Collaboratewith the Construction Management division on new projects andrenovations, including system commissioning and as-builtorganization.

Team Development:

Assist in training othertechnicians and staff in preventative maintenance best practices.

Profile The successful HVAC Mechanic will have:

Experience:

Minimum2-5 years of HVAC maintenance experience (stable employment historystrongly preferred).

Technical Expertise:

Extensive knowledge ofHVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems, andmechanical equipment.

Licenses & Certifications:

MA RefrigerationLicense (highly preferred) OSHA 10 or 30 (Preferred) HoneywellControl System experience (Preferred)

Soft Skills:

Strong teamorientation, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communicationskills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 pounds and safelyuse ladders.

Location:

$80,000 – $115,000 base salary (flexible based onexperience)
