The ideal candidate will have a strong background in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work independently in the field, ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Duties Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance. Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service calls. Document all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Experience Proven experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Previous field service experience preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
