Position Description:
(primary functions) The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must be at least 21 years of ageMust provide certificate indicating level of HVAC trainingMust provide crediable references on application
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Visually check hydronic-circulation pumpsCheck for water leaks associated with HVAC unitsCheck boiler operationCheck hydronic unitsCheck the wall unitsHeat panelsCheck force air units for clogged filters. Change filters based on schedule.
Clean condensing unitsInspect metal housings around air handle units for metal fatigueInspect belts and pulleysLubricate where possibleInspect exhaust and supply fan motorsCheck motor drives (VFD)Check VAV boxesCheck two way-valves and thermostatsClean chiller coilsClean Mitsubishi cassette filters (base on schedule)Keep a log for each mechanical room (date and time of inspection)Request needed materials and suppliesEnsure that HVAC systems are operating at optimal level at all timePerform other duties assigned by the supervisorReport findings to immediate supervisor.
