LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR REGISTRATION
Valid Driver’s License. Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and cooling systems. Skill in the use of tools equipment and supplies applicable to trade; Sill in performing routine maintenance and repairing machines. Verbal and written communication skills; Proficient computer skills; Interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Observes and tests system operation using gauges and instruments.
Dismantles machines and removes parts for repair; Installs, adjusts or replaces worn or defective mechanisms and parts, and reassembles repaired systems according to specifications.
Installs and maintains pneumatic and digital control systems.
Tests line, components and connections for leaks.
Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies; complies with applicable safety and environmental practices.
Completes and documents work performed in a timely manner and maintains quality standards.
Cleans machines using cleaning solvent, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuum and/or other equipment.
Lubricates or applies adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts or other equipment.
Operates machine shop equipment such as engine lathes, drill press, grinder, milling machine, and hydraulic press to fabricate equipment parts.
