Job Summary:

As the AC Start Up & Warranty Tech, you will be responsible to work with our customers and ensure they are offered all appropriate warranty and product service options. You will also be responsible for the final stage check, corrections, warranty as well as scheduled calls.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot single and Three-phase installations. Check heating & cooling equipment is installed correctly and verify cooling and heating operations (pitch on drain lines, coils etc.) Diagnose & correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns for repairs. Assess the needs of our customers and offer all appropriate products and services. Create and maintain a database of all leads through retail, retail new construction, and product registration. Provide constant feedback related to our competition and our current standings in the marketplace. Build strong relationships with our vendor partners to ensure we have the most current information available. This position will also handle product registration for retail and retail new construction new installations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

EPA Certification preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous “In House Sales “experience. Customer Service skills. High Quality Organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and while facing deadlines and other adversities. Must be able to Multitask. Ability to network and build relationships within our communities. Excellent critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required One year minimum residential field experience required. Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues. Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.

EPA Certification:

Preferred. Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record. Must be able to Pass drug Screen. Must have reliable HVAC tools

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times. Able to access In and out of attics. Working On call schedules and long hours
