Engineer, you will be responsible for maintainingmechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVACsystems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoingscheduled maintenance. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services jobfunction. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

Assign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done in atimely manner. Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric orpneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation,air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment,including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and controlcomponents. Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVACequipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliancewith all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety. Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course ofaction for equipment modifications. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and proceduresto accomplish complex assignments and provide innovativesolutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job disciplineand broad knowledge of several job disciplines within thefunction. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Priorshift manager or supervisory experience preferred. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping,standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry heavyloads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiplesources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existingsolutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitivemindset. Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complexfigures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-relatedcalculations. Why CBRE?
