Job Title HVAC Technician Job Description Summary This position will work wherever needed on HVAC project work and will assist a HVAC technicians on daily work when needed. Also perform PM’s on HVAC related equipment. Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on HVAC project work.
  • Assist with HVAC maintenance work when needed.
  • Be able to work on back shifts and weekends when the project requires it.
  • Have basic Mechanical Skills.
  • Must have the required C&W Services sight’s tool list.
  • Must be able to listen to instruction on assignments and carry them out unsupervised.
  • Must be able to obtain a fork truck license & lift license 90 days from the date of hiring. (must have a valid NC driver’s license).
  • Must be able to work overtime when required.
  • Any other duties as directed by the HVAC Manager.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
  • Must maintain positive customer and employee relationships (communications with all)
  • Respond to customer calls.
  • Must have knowledge of and be able to demonstrate the use of hand/power tools.
  • Accurate and timely administrative duties to include Time off request forms (turned into manager for signature).
  • Fill out materials request form as needed.
  • Check off materials from packing slip when received orders.
  • Enter daily time on work orders and PM’s in Facility 360.
  • Daily checks on jobs in progress & completed jobs. (as documented in Facility 360).
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Assist in keeping facilities, tools, and equipment in good order and clean.

Education:

-Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education.

Experience:

Some prior mechanical experience with the use of hand tools.
