Brief Summary of Work for this

Position:

Assist HVAC Control Technicians in analyzing building automation and control systems and recommend modifications to achieve better operation or energy efficiency.
Assist in the performance of measurements and adjustments and repairs to DDC, electrical and pneumatic control systems.
Assist HVAC Control Technicians to perform preventive maintenance on building control system devices.
Assist in the preventive maintenance of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the area of assignment may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Required Certifications or Licensure:

A valid NC Driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
