Heating and Air Installer Raleigh Cary hvac Cary, NC 27513 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R, appliance repair, and equipment repair. As an Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various systems and appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills. Duties Install HVAC systems, appliances, and related equipment according to specifications and safety standards. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Drive company van to job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules. Design installation plans based on customer needs and site assessments. Perform welding tasks as needed for specific installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance services provided. Qualifications Proven experience in HVAC/R installation or appliance repair is preferred. Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and tools. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to installations. Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Certification in HVAC or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the industry.
