Job Description:

The HVAC Technician II performs maintenance, repairs andinstallation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment andcontrols, chilled water systems, boilers, and various othermechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance withclient expectations and requests.

Pay Rate:

$35-$40

BasicQualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess avalid, unexpired driver’s license
• Must possess HVAC license inthe state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will beperformed
• Must possess EPA Universal certification credentials
• Must have refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification
• Three (3) years of HVAC experience are required

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners,transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches andcontrols on electrical systems
• Use common tools of the HVAC tradein daily work (e.g multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts,hand tools etc.)
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation andair conditioning systems and equipment
• Identify maintenance riskson equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVACsystems
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warrantyservices
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
• Keep dailylogs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensure compliancewith appliance standards and with Occupational Health and SafetyAct
• Comply with service standards, work instructions andcustomers’ requirements
• Assist with customer queries inquiries
