Key Responsibilities Service Air conditioning and heating systems in residential and light-commercial environments in accordance with current codes. Diagnose and repair HVAC system failures and malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with construction teams to install new systems in commercial buildings. Evaluate and recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all HVAC operations. Document service and maintenance activities accurately and timely. Qualifications Minimum five years’ experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems. Must have a driver’s license, clean driving record and capability to pass a drug/alcohol test. Familiarity with national, state and local HVAC code regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. EPA Certification 608 Certification The physical ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, chases and other confined work areas is also required.
