Job Description
Honeywell International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Building Automation Technician to join our Building Automation team in Lake Success, NY. This union position plays a key role in delivering advanced building automation solutions using Honeywell and Tridium (Niagara) platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality automation solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) using Honeywell and Tridium platforms
- Map system points, develop system graphics, and configure front-end stations
- Interpret and implement sequence of operations
- Work with protocols including BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, and HTML; Java is a plus
- Commission and start up BAS systems
- Interpret project plans, schematics, and design documents
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure timely, successful installations The compensation range for this position is $39- $52 per hour.
The actual compensation offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
