The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. Install new HVAC systems and components as required. Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and provide effective solutions. Operate vehicles for transporting tools and equipment to job sites. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration, and equipment repair. Ability to plumb as needed for system installations or repairs. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation purposes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Relevant certifications or training in HVAC technology is a plus.
