UPMC East is currently hiring a regular, fulltime General Maintenance 2 – HVAC/Service Tech to work various shifts including day, evening and overnight. This position will also have weekend and holiday responsibility. Candidates will be placed in the correct job title/salary grade based on education and experience. Clean coils and equipment.
Clean, paint, and maintain mechanical and plant rooms/centers.
Filter changes in air handlers, terminal devices and fan coils.
Maintain/prepare job site/shop.
Minor preventive maintenance of chillers, boilers and cooling towers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Two years general maintenance-related work experience OR completion of a trade school required.
Military experience considered.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Driver’s License
