HVAC Technician Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial settings. This individual will ensure systems operate efficiently, meet code requirements, and provide high-quality service to our customers.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and ductwork
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and determine proper solutions
• Follow all safety procedures and local HVAC codes and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining system issues and solutions in plain language
• Complete job reports, service documentation, and timesheets accurately and on time
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and contractors as needed.

• Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
• 2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field
• EPA Section 608 Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of physical environments (e.g., crawl spaces, rooftops)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• NATE Certification or equivalent
• Experience with both residential and light commercial systems
• Basic electrical and plumbing skills
• Familiarity with smart thermostats and energy-efficient systems.
