Compressor Technician Position Available In Carbon, Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in air compressor systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, including checking filters, oil levels, belts, and pressure settings
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify malfunctions and find solutions for air compressor systems
• Replace faulty components such as valves, seals, bearings, and pistons
• Conduct air quality tests and adjust pressure and temperature settings to ensure proper functionality
• Install new air compressor systems and components as per manufacturer guidelines
• Test new equipment and ensure it operates correctly before full implementation
• Assist in the set-up of compressor systems in customer facilities, ensuring adherence to safety standards
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostic results, repairs, and maintenance needs
• Provide customers with accurate cost estimates for repairs or replacements
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional, efficient, and courteous service

• Record-Keeping and Reporting:

  o Maintain accurate records of service work, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job

• Create and update service reports, tracking progress and issues found during repairs
• Follow up on service calls, offering additional maintenance or repairs as needed

o Follow all safety protocols, including using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety standards.
