The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, including ammonia refrigeration. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team, providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment. Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot malfunctions. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions. Repair or replace defective components in air conditioning units. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Requirements Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable. Proficient in using tools for equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Valid driver’s license may be required for field service duties.
