Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently in the field, ensuring that all HVAC systems operate smoothly and effectively. Must have EPA Certificate. Duties Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed. Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs. Build and assemble HVAC components as required for specific projects. Conduct equipment repairs for various HVAC appliances, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair tasks related to HVAC installations. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC design and installation. Familiarity with field service operations and the ability to interpret schematics effectively. Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred but not mandatory. Strong skills in equipment repair and appliance repair within the HVAC context. Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites. Must have EPA Certificate.
