Position Overview:

Are you an HVAC expert with a knack for solving complex problems and a flair for customer service? As our Floating Multifamily HVAC Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our property operations, ensuring that our HVAC systems run smoothly and efficiently across multiple locations. Your role will be pivotal in keeping our residents comfortable and our properties in top shape.

Key Responsibilities:
Master of HVAC Systems:

From split systems to central air units and everything in between, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs that keep our HVAC systems performing at their best.

Preventive Maintenance Pro:

You’ll follow and implement preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring our systems have a long, productive life and operate at peak efficiency.

Emergency Hero:

Respond quickly to urgent HVAC issues, whether it’s after hours or on weekends, to minimize downtime and keep our residents comfortable.

Detail-Oriented Documentation:

Keep thorough records of service activities and provide insightful reports to property managers about system conditions and recommendations.

Customer Service Champion:

Deliver top-notch service to our residents by addressing their HVAC concerns with professionalism and clarity.

Compliance and Safety Guru:

Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental standards, handling refrigerants and hazardous materials responsibly.

Inventory Connoisseur:

Manage and monitor HVAC parts and supplies, ensuring you have what you need to deliver exceptional service.

Team Collaborator:

Work seamlessly with maintenance staff, property managers, and vendors to support our properties and foster a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Bring at least 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, ideally in a multifamily residential setting. Your expertise with a range of HVAC systems will be highly valued.

Certifications:

Hold a valid HVAC certification (e.g., EPA Section 608), with additional relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., NATE) being a plus.

Technical Skills:

Demonstrate strong abilities in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, with solid experience in electrical components, refrigerant handling, and mechanical systems.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with residents, property managers, and team members.

Flexibility:

Ready to travel between properties and adapt to varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Problem-Solving:

Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
