Job Description:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining,and performing repairs on assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipmentand controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various othermechanical, electrical and building systems in such manner as toeliminate system downtime and ensure optimal client relations. Essential Functions Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats andburners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements,switches and controls on electrical systems Installs, maintains and repairs ventilation and airconditioning systems and equipment Identifies maintenance risks on equipment Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVACsystems Cleans, adjusts and repairs systems, and performs warrantyservices Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Ensures compliance with appliance standards and withOccupational Health and Safety Act Completes other duties as assigned Willingness to Work at

Various Heights:

The ideal candidatemust be comfortable working in elevated environments. This includestasks that may require being at different heights for extendedperiods.

Ladder Climbing:

Regular climbing of ladders is a critical partof this position. The candidate must be capable of safely ascendingand descending ladders of various sizes and types.

Utilizing Various Lifts:

Proficiency in operating a range oflifts is essential. This involves maneuvering scissor lifts, boomlifts, and other mechanical devices to reach higher areas. MinimumEducation and/or Experience Requirements 3-5 years of HVAC maintenance experience in a commercial orindustrial setting EPA 608 license High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures andtechniques. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Skill in using hand and power tools. Must be authorized to work in the

US Pay:

$25 – $34/hr. The paylisted is the salary range for this position. Any specific offerwill vary based on the successful applicant’s education,experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignmentwith market data.
