Shift/Hours:

7:30 AM•4 PM, Monday•Friday

Pay Rate:

$20.00•$27.00 / hour; depending on experience
•Five years or more experience.

Fractional to 6,000HP AC and DC Electric Motors. Horizontal split case, submersible and turbine pumps.

Own your own tools or willing to purchase them.•

Responsibilities of an AC/DC Mechanic /

Pump Mechanic:

Operate specialized testing equipment including but not limited to: test panels, surge testers, cut off saws, burnout ovens, bake ovens, grinders, cranes, forklifts, brazing units, dip tanks, and various hand-held power tools.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings.
Experience using calipers and reading micrometers.
Perform DC motor inspections and surveys to possibly include resetting brush rigging, removal/replacement of motors, stoning new brush paths, laser alignment, coupling replacement, etc.
Basic understanding of electrical theories.
Mechanical experience.
Physically fit enough to be able to stand for long periods, bend, twist, kneel, and lift 50lbs without injury.
Basic knowledge and use of common electronics and programs.
Perform a variety of operations comprehensively rebuilding Electric Motors and Pumps.
Inspect various electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunction.
Ability to produce failure reports.
Test conditions of windings per EASA standards
Fill out company paperwork completely and legibly.
Prepare all reusable parts for assembly and inspect renewed parts for serviceability.
Assemble, test, and Quality Check AC/DC Motors and pumps.
Observe and follow all safety procedures and policies.
Willing and able to work overtime and respond to customer emergencies.
Maintain a clean work area and practice good housekeeping.
Responsible, reliable, flexible, attentive, ethical.
