Commercial HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of HVAC systems, compressors, and chillers. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair issues, and ensure the optimal functioning of all related equipment. Responsibilities Maintain HVAC systems, compressors, and chillers. Remove and wash coils. Change filters regularly. Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise. Work on compressors and chillers as required. Essential Skills Experience with HVAC systems and equipment. Preventive maintenance skills. Strong troubleshooting abilities. Minimum of 2 years of experience with HVAC systems. Knowledge of refrigeration equipment and compressors. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have at least 2 years of experience with commercial or industrial units. EPA Universal certification required. Work Environment This role involves working in a food-grade manufacturing facility with both indoor and outdoor equipment. Outdoor conveyors may require the use of stairs or ladders. The position requires wearing steel toe boots and clothing that can get dirty. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with minimal overtime required outside of breakdown situations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 – $33.00/hr.
