Technician, you will be responsible for maintainingmechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems atfacilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoingscheduled maintenance. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services jobfunction. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric orpneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating,ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems andequipment. Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment toensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with allapplicable codes, regulations, and work safety. Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course ofaction for equipment modifications. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems whilehaving a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks aredescribed in detail. Deliver own output by following defined procedures andprocesses under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Validdriver’s license required. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping,standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability tolift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in theapplication of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforwardinformation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Why CBRE?
