HVAC Service Technician 2.2 2.2 out of 5 stars 3108 Vermont Route 22A, Bridport, VT 05734 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including propane/oil heating systems, air conditioning, and heat pumps. This role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing excellent customer service. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on HVAC systems. Design and implement effective solutions for HVAC system improvements. Work with the sales team to come up with repair and new installation costs. Plumb new installations as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of HVAC. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems. A VT propane piping and/or technician license is a plus. A NORA Bronze oil burner certificate is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Relevant certifications in HVAC technology or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
